Staying After Hours

• Each newspaper staffer should plan to spend at least one hour after school per week in the newspaper room (9 hours per quarter)
• Each hour earns 20 points towards the student's overall grade
• Staying after school is a great way to ensure that the student is meeting their deadlines
• Staying after school allows students the opportunity to work one-on-one with an editor or with the adviser
• To receive credit for hours, students must sign in and out of the hours book
